What is Rosh Chodesh? All women of the temple are invited to join the Rosh Chodesh group monthly for a little learning, a little nosh, and some pleasant conversation. No preparation, RSVP, or commitment needed. Just join us when you can for a nice evening visiting with old friends and meeting new ones. Rosh Chodesh is a women’s holiday, traditionally celebrated at the new moon. It has long been marked with a break from the everyday monotony of household chores and other work. For consistency, we meet the second Thursday of each month. New participants are always welcome.

May 8 - Rabbi Leah will discuss her thesis: "Who Built up the House of Israel: Reproductive Power Plays in the Biblical Narrative."

June 12 - Learn to Identify One's Own Energy Field

The Rosh Chodesh Group meets the 2nd Thursday of the month. For more information please e-mail us at rosh-chodesh@templebethelohim.org.

Now that we have this beautiful building, we would like the temple to become a hub for fun activities. We are planning social activities for all adults - young and older, single, single again and married. There will be no membership dues, and the cost of each activity will be kept as low as possible.

If you have some ideas for activities for this social group - please let us know. These can include activities outside the Temple including theater trips, day trips, bowling - you name it. Forward all ideas to Linda Springer.
